Fulton County, in partnership with its economic development initiative, Select Fulton, recognizes the impact and importance of small business and entrepreneurship. Over 76% of all Fulton County businesses have no employees and 96% of those with employees have less than 100 workers. In 2018, Georgia was named the #1 state in the U.S. for small business climate by the largest small business association, the National Federation of Independent Business.

Fulton County is hosting the Empowering Entrepreneurs Conference to further support small business and entrepreneurs in the county. The conference will feature regional thought leaders who will discuss opportunities and resources for access to capital and small business planning. This free, full-day event will be a one-stop-shop for those looking to invest and grow their business here in Fulton County.
